What is the meaning of anti-spam and anti-phishing protection?

i've get mcafee securitycenter 10.5,license for 15 months in my new laptop,i was using eset nod32 in my old laptop for almost 2 year and now i'm get few confuse with mcafee,eset was very easy to use so pls some one tell me about these features and also tell me is anti-phishing alway called web guard?

Phishing means tricking you into disclosing your personal info like address,phone number,bank account details ,passwords ,emails etc.

This is mostly done by fraud emails promising the reader great rewards such as 1 million $



Spam email is a mostly an advertisement containing some malicious links or contents that can damage the pc.An email is regarded as Spam is its many copies are generated to lots of users around.

Phishing means faking of a website or a webpage and u believe that the page is real and u enter all ur details like password id and all these u have entered will b used by the attacker who phished the site



one way to be aware of phishing is always check ur address bar while entering ur info many sites now uses https a secured version so also check the address of websites to prevent from phishing atck



spamming means sending ads malwares in a clickable links so when u click on the link some trouble may happen to ur system



always click the links from a trusted source to prevent from phishing and spamming
