I went to Site Advisor and did a search on Silvertag.com. They report that no significant problems were found with that site. Site Advisor is great and it's a free utility you can use anytime. You can choose to download the small program which resides in your browser. Anytime you do a search, the search results will be listed as safe or cautious or unsafe. (Each search result will have a green checkmark for safe, a yellow warning if caution is needed, or a red x if totally unsafe). If you don't want to install it, you can simply go to www.siteadvisor.com and type in any URL in the search box.
Here's another nifty tip you can use if you are considering using unknown software. You can go to Google and type in the name of the program along with + spyware. (Ex. spysherrif + spyware). If this program is known to be a rouge program or one with spyware, there will be search results you can read in more detail.
I used Google in just that way for Silvertag.com. I didn't spend much time but at first glance it appears to be legitimate.
Hope this helps!!!Is silvertag.com a real site to go auctioning or is it a scam or a phishing site?

Is silvertag.com a real site to go auctioning or is it a scam or a phishing site?I've been on silvertag.com for over 6 months and I've won three times. A TV a playstation 3 and a camera. You can look in a winners catagory and see the different people. And I know several other winners from the Michigan area.
