My norton phishing filtor is turned off?

i have downloaded the new internet exploror and my norton phishing firltor is turned off and my log ins toolbar thingy isnt working

what do i do to fix it?My norton phishing filtor is turned off?
To fix you will want enable the phishing filter on IE, it works pretty good. Then you will want to uninstall Norton entirely and then go out and buy McAfee anti-virus. McAfee is user friendly, easy to install, and most of all it works. Unlike Norton which has only received visual modifications, the actual program hasn't changed since 2001. It let's viruses through, crashes some computers, and eats up resources for no reason.

You can read some of the reviews here:

Or do a Google search: Norton reviewsMy norton phishing filtor is turned off?
Open Norton, by the icon far right bottom near the clock. Click on Identity then Phishing Protection and turn phishing filter back on.

You also have a phishing filter on explorer, click tools %26gt; phishing filter %26gt; turn on automatic website checking

Job done.

EDIT : Ignore below, I have used Norton for years with no problems whatsoever, I have never had a virus or crash and my PC runs as fast as it did when new.My norton phishing filtor is turned off?
If it happened right after you installed the new internet explorer it may be a sign that there is a compatibility issue. When you install new programs they often turn off features in other programs if there is compatibility issue. Also beta software is known to be unstable sometimes. Your best bet is to go back to the previous version of internet explorer.
Hi! If you have downloaded the new internet explorer beta norton toolbar is not compatible with it. As far as I know antiphishing doesn't support beta browsers. So, until ie is in its final version you can use firefox. For more informations you can search at the symantec website for help.
