Difference between pretexting and phishing?

What exactly is the difference between pretexting and phishing? My lecturer says:

Pretexting occurs when someone deceives by pretending to be someone else and

Phishing is pretexting via email.

Also, what would be some imaginary examples of these terms in the Internet Banking context?Difference between pretexting and phishing?
Pretexting is when somebody will lie to gain information. Such as pretending to be someone else. Phishing is the duplication of a web page, fooling the user to enter their details thinking they are on the original site.

In banking, you could pretend to work for the bank and ask them for their details. This would be pretexting.

You could email them with a link to a website you made, that looks identical to their bank's page. That way, when they log in, you have their details.

(I'm not 100% sure on pretexting, but I think I'm right).
