What is phishing and how can I protect myself?

my internet was messing up a bit and so I did a virus scan.

5 Phising url's were found all 'googleleads' something.

What does this mean? Should I be worried and what can I do to protect myself?

All Phishing is, is scams either from emails or sites for you to fill all your personal details in.



The biggest one is, "You have won a Lottery" but if you never entered it, how can you win it?



The only protection you have got, is not to fill them in.



All your being told is it is a possible a scam site.
