SEEMS TO BE EMAILS FOR HALIFAX, LLOYDSTSB, YORKSHIRE BANK.. ALL ASKING FOR ME TO 'CLICK HERE' I HAVE REPORTED THEM , BUT SEEM TO GET MORE WHAT DO I DO NOW ?Phishing ? my email box is being targetted by banking phishing emails what do i do apart from report to bank?
Just forward them to the fraud department of your bank. The more they get of them, they have a chance to trace the source of them. Even if it's not from your bank, because the banks pool all their information.
When you get them just click on the forward button. I've got my bank's fraud department in my address book so it's there already!
Just delete the emails. You know they are fake so you don't bite the bait, so there is no problem.Phishing ? my email box is being targetted by banking phishing emails what do i do apart from report to bank?
To be honest most people get these nowadays. Just mark them as spam and ignore them. Just remember, no banks will send you an email and ask you to confirm details.
Call the bank and ask them if they have a dept that accepts fradulant e-mails (forwarded to them). I know Bank of america has one... abuse@bankofamerica.com so its possible your bank may have one too.Phishing ? my email box is being targetted by banking phishing emails what do i do apart from report to bank?
Lloyds TSB by any chance? Got one yesterday. Mark them as spam on your computer and delete.
DO NOT ANSWER THEM!!!Go to comodo.com install their antispam its free it seem to work i haven't had a problem yet they offer a complete security suite that has shopping protection in the form of site veracation works well with banks.
